BHPS Science Program

Science is a specialist subject offered to all Senior School Children on a weekly basis. Small groups (max15) attend the science room where extensive equipment has been set up to accommodate the numerous topics and experiments studied.
Facilities include:
- Sink and Taps
- Refrigeration
- Microwave
- Microscopes
- Full Size Skeleton
- Human Body with Removable Organ
- Television & DVD player
- Computers
- Science Books
Science Funding in 2008 has provided excellent resources including informative DVDs to enhance Science Learning.
The ‘Science Program’ focuses on two dimensions: Knowledge and Understanding.
Students develop skills of recording, measuring, classifying, observing and problem solving.
