Parents & Friends
The Parents’ & Friends’ Association is an important group that provides an opportunity for effective and organised parent participation in the life of the school. The group has various functions.
- It provides an open forum for all parents to discuss issues concerned with student welfare and general educational policy.
- It assists in the co-ordination of activities organised by other school groups, eg. School Council and Staff.
- It works independently to raise funds for the provision of extra facilities and amenities for the children by holding various functions throughout the year.
- It encourages parent participation in the school, promoting friendliness and helping new parents establish supportive networks.
The Parents’ & Friends’ Association is an essential part of the school community.
Meetings are held monthly.
