LOTE (Italian) Programme

Italian is a specialist area offered to students at Beverley Hills Primary School.
Classes run for one hour on a weekly basis.
Both the cultural and language awareness aspects are covered.
Students are immersed in the language through varied activities such as stories, role plays, conversation, games, song and dance as well as online activities.
Sessions are conducted in the LOTE room, which is well resourced and set up to create a positive language and cultural learning environment.
In the LOTE room students have access to a number of resources including computers. Students are encouraged to visit educational websites such as ‘languageonline’ to revise and enrich their language learning
